How long do we retain your personal information?

6.3 Without prejudice to Section 6.2, we will usually delete personal data falling within the categories set out below at the date/time set out below:
(a) buyer and vendor registration details will be deleted after 12 months;
(b) vendors who close their store will have their contact information available on our website for two months following closure for the benefit of buyers who may need to contact them during this period
(c) sensitive personal data/ special categories of data will be deleted as once identity and race verification checks have been conducted.
6.4 Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Section, we will retain documents (including electronic documents) containing personal data:
(a) to the extent that we are required to do so by law;
(b) if we believe that the documents may be relevant to any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings; and
(c) in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk).
6.5 We note that we keep information, which forms part of our business record for a minimum of six years. That is because we may need it to support a claim or defence in court. That is also the period within which our tax collecting authorities may demand to know it.
